Abstract

The essay A Tree that Appeared in the Wood presents a relation of the sculpture performance carried out in the plein-air activity in the Forests Arboretum in Zielonka. The more-then-ten-hours operation on the tempest-damaged oak-trunk was presented on several stages, either by the author’s own commentary or by a sequence of associations and descriptions of the techniques adopted.
