Tutoring and Its Supportive Role in Philosophical Education

Abstract

The philosophical education based on tutorial teaching has gained a positive influence on the holistic development of children. Not only does it provide students with knowledge and allow them to acquire suitable skills and philosophical abilities but also introduces an ethical relation between teacher and student, and their mutual responsibility for philosophical education. Tutorial classes in the field of philosophy develop the imagination and awake to the awareness of the issues important for students. They support students in their learning and self-understanding.
