Abstract

Kazimierz Ajdukiewcz’s Philosophical Account of Emotions.

This paper aims to present and discuss the notion of emotional state as outlined by Kazimierz Ajdukiewicz. I examine the relationship of Ajdukiewicz’s account of emotions to the contemporary cognitive and perceptual theories of emotions. I argue that his ideas are close to the quasi-perceptual model of emotions developed, for example by Ronald de Sousa.
