Abstract


The Impotence of God’s Omnipotence

The goal of the article is to discuss the problem of God’s omnipotence. The starting point for discussion is Hiob’s history but the context of the analysis is philosophy of Søren A. Kierkegaard and Lev I. Shestov. In the interpretive approach the impotence of God’s omnipotence is understood as a consequence of rationality of God’s omnipotence (a process of inversion). According to L. Shestov consequence of finding the truth is reject the reason (a inversion of inversion).
