Filozofia przez małe ,,f’’
Abstract
Philosophy Written with a Small “ph”
In this paper the author addresses the problem of how to apply the philosophical skills, such as dividing, defiing, and classifying, to the analysis of the language of some extralogical domains. It is indicated that Aristotle treated ontology as the basis of knowledge of reality and paved the way for logic and ontology being mutually connected. This model was adopted by J.M. Bocheński, a precursor of formal ontology. Nowadays, the so-called applied formal ontologies developed, the aim of which is to furnish us with a system of concepts used in the domains of extralogical knowledge.
Keywords: formal applied ontology, philosophical analysis, application of philosophy.
